Cara Tower is the essence of spiritual, modern World Music. A breath of fresh air as she is one of those singer-songwriters with a very unique talent.
Her original songs include flavors from North America, India, the Middle-East and Brazil. In her music one can hear threads of classical music as she is also a solo guitarist who has focused her studies on the Baroque Masters.
Cara's lyrics weave through captivating, conscious vocals reminiscent of Rumi, a sacred poet of kindred devotional lineage. Magical, yet grounded qualities can be felt as the audience celebrates and participates as she guides them on a mystical journey around the World and ultimately deep inside themselves - the essential part of Healing Music - thus bringing both listener and musician to an authentic place.
Tower is an artist at large beginning each concert with her intimate solo guitar and voice. The evening escalates as she performs live over the eclectic backing tracks she produces.
The event is further embellished by three short art videos Tower has created in collaboration with cinematographer Nobu Matsubara. Using the poetry of Rumi and Gibran and the voice and message of Prem Rawat, Tower and Matsubara have created a visual and sonic feast to escort the prose.
