Beyond Baroque

I started a study of classical guitar, self taught, seven years ago. It was a crash course so I could compose a baroque piece for the opening scene of a film called Blue Kentucky Girl. The film was never completed, but my study of this music continues to this day. I fell in love with the richness it offers.
The sample I’m playing is a piece from the museum of Prague written in the Baroque era by Academio Calanosio. I did the recordings in North Carolina. The delightful crackling you hear in the background was the fireplace in my farmhouse. I was living in at the foot of the Appalachia mountains and this was the only source of heat.
